TCDM 6th Annual Gala Honoree Spotlight: Dr. Albert Granger

Dr. Albert Granger, the founding partner of Premier Endodontics of Long Island, is the director of Endodontics at the Harlem Hospital General Practice Residency Program and a former assistant Professor at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. A graduate of Howard University College of Dentistry and the Post Graduate Endodontic Program at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, he also completed the Implant Maxi Course at the Medical College of Georgia in 2007.

Dr. Granger is very engaged in his community and the dental Society. A City Councilman for the City of Glen Cove, New York for 11 years, Dr. Granger was also President of the Nassau County Dental Society in 2012. Currently, he serves on the Board of Trustees for Elizabethtown College and the Northwell Hospital System. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, The Academy of General Dentistry, and the Pierre Fauchard Dental Honor Society. And, he is an active member of the American Dental Society, the New York and Nassau County State Dental Societies, the National Dental Association, and the American Association of Endodontists.

A member of the Admissions Committee, Dr. Granger plays a vital role in the TCDM student selection process. He comes from a long line of dentists including both of his grandfathers, his mother, father, father-in-law, sister, and brother. He, himself, is a third-generation dentist, and his daughter, Kelly, a Pediatric Dentist, is the fourth generation.
